Hull Rupture Demo: Availability and Carryover
The Hull Rupture demo has been disabled now that the full game is out. A completed tutorial and an unlocked Trade Mode carry over, but Artifacts must be unlocked again. Endless Mode no longer starts automatically after a Classic clear, and modules can now be built in any empty module slot.
Quick answer
The playable Hull Rupture demo has been disabled now that the full game is out. For a returning demo player, the important fact is that most demo progress does not carry over.
What carries over
| Demo progress | Full game |
|---|---|
| Completed tutorial | Remembered, so you do not have to replay it |
| Unlocked Trade Mode | Already available |
| Artifacts | Must be unlocked again |
| Demo-era artifact build | Not restorable |
The demo did not include the final artifact unlock conditions, which is why Artifacts are the main exception to the carryover.
What changed at launch
Several systems that demo-era guides describe have changed:
- Endless Mode is separate from Classic Mode and no longer starts automatically after a Classic clear.
- Modules can be built in any empty module slot; the demo’s adjacent-module requirement was removed.
- Artifact icons and names changed.
- An icon that belonged to one artifact in the demo can now belong to another.
If you are following an old demo route, check the current shop and module rules rather than assuming the same layout.
Returning from the demo
Start a fresh run. If you completed the demo tutorial, you should not have to replay it. Re-check the first shop and Hull Construction screens, because the rules and interface may not match your memory.
Do not spend time trying to restore a demo artifact build. The artifact unlock state is not carried, and the current run’s shop and hull drops will decide what you can build.
Current version
The game launched on November 4, 2026. The current balance patch used for these guides is v1.0.15. Use the version note on each page when comparing a demo memory with the live game.
